Tampere, Finland – Over a year ago, I featured Mumrunner and one of their best singles “Bond”. This past weekend, I had a pretty sweet trip down memory lane when I listened to their newest track “Sputnik”, a fast-paced shoegaze track. I could tell within thirty seconds into this song that I would like it, and it’s been hard finding good shoegaze bands these days. Everything about this song is exactly what I want in a shoegaze track: heavy synth, low yet echoy vocals, and some fast-licking guitars.

“Sputnik” is taken from Mumrunner’s upcoming EP Gentle Slopes, which you can get on vinyl here from Wolves and Vibrancy Records.

I am not real...or at least not who you think I am, merely a figment of my own imagination. If you stumbled upon this blog...I can only wonder how.
