New York – LVL Up is releasing their new album Return to Love on 9/23 via Sub Pop Records. The band shared their newest single “Pain”, an indie rock track with tons of reverb for that laid-back garage sound. With catchy rhythms, the gritty lo-fi sound, and to ode to youth spirit, “Pain” gives ode to 90s indie rock, or, dare I say, the golden college rock era. The track stays pretty mellow in the beginning, where you get the typical verses and bridges but if you stay for the whole 5.5 minutes, LVL Up really jams it up near the end of the track. The layers of all the instruments come together into a noise rock bridge that closes the song in an ultimate “finito” sequence.

I am not real...or at least not who you think I am, merely a figment of my own imagination. If you stumbled upon this blog...I can only wonder how.
