London, UK – Producer Marquis Compressor recently shared new song “21 Thieves”. I’ll be honest, it’s an extremely odd song on first listen but if you really give the song a chance, there’s something about it that draws me to it. This song is definitely heavy with the synths that it uses but the drawn out synths give the song this sticky-like feeling that actually works with the muted vocals. “21 Thieves” does remind me a bit of vaporwave but it also has a bit of future bass in it too that gives it such an interesting sound. Marquis Compressor’s vocals also have soulful R&B in it that give the song such a sensual groove. Usually having so many genres is difficult to work with but he does a really good job in picking essential elements in each of the genres he’s working with and pulls it together in “21 Thieves”.

I am not real...or at least not who you think I am, merely a figment of my own imagination. If you stumbled upon this blog...I can only wonder how.
