Brooklyn, NY – Mellow out this Sunday night with Rokenri and their track “Sullied Tide”. The track is taken from the band’s upcoming debut LP Donkey Donkey, out 5/27. “Sullied Tide” is just a sneak peek at the album, showcasing the bands mellow rock sound, reminiscent of some of the mild alternative rock from the late 00s. The vocals have this lingering quality to it and with that laid on top of the percussion driven base gives it a trash rock sound, similar to Happyness in some ways. I love the nonchalant singing style and the odd lyrics, really giving the band some character in their sound.

I am not real...or at least not who you think I am, merely a figment of my own imagination. If you stumbled upon this blog...I can only wonder how.
