Last week, The Spook School shared their music video for “Speak When You’re Spoken To”, taken from their album Try To Be Hopeful, released last year on Fortuna POP! The actual song starts about 50 seconds in, and it reminds me a lot of the music that comes out of San Diego and Los Angeles. The gangly guitar chords and the teen boy vocals all add to the surf punk rock sound. In general, I love the light upbeat sound of the song and it’s really just a fun song, which matches the whimsicality of the music video.

I am not real...or at least not who you think I am, merely a figment of my own imagination. If you stumbled upon this blog...I can only wonder how.
