Brooklyn, NY – Start your Friday off with Sun Cut Flat and his newest track “Being Swept Up (In The Golden Tide)”. This song is a cluster of different genres, but all the genres all blend together like a good cup of joe that’ll keep you refreshed throughout the day. The song starts off with a light folky sound but slowly transitions into an experimental pop song. “Being Swept Up (In The Golden Tide)” still has the soft folk sound that permeates throughout the song but it definitely emphasizes the experimental pop end more. The vocals get a synthesized, which may suit your tastes but I like it better when they go a more natural route that fits the folky end of the song better. It’s an odd song but I think there are plenty of elements in the song that you’ll find an aspect of the song that you like.

I am not real...or at least not who you think I am, merely a figment of my own imagination. If you stumbled upon this blog...I can only wonder how.
