Boston, MA – Math rock quartet Sparhawks released a video for their track “Jeopardy” last month. My experience in math rock is pretty minimal since I really became aware of that genre only a couple months ago, but I think it has a beautiful and intricate sound. “Jeopardy” has a more mellow sound, like American Football or CHON, and I seriously love the drummer on this track. I think in most math rock, I hear the intricacy of the guitars more but the drums kill it in this track. If you’ve never heard math rock before, Sparhawks is a great place to start because math rock can get intense with all the different rhythms and mix of genres.

“Jeopardy” is taken from their upcoming album The Quiet Hour out via Mind Over Matter Records.

I am not real...or at least not who you think I am, merely a figment of my own imagination. If you stumbled upon this blog...I can only wonder how.
