Passion Pit is honestly one of my favorite bands from my middle school days, and I honestly haven’t heard a band that can nail the indie/electropop sound like they can. But, Brooklyn-based indie electropop duo Late Cambrian can definitely give them a run for their money. Last week, the duo released their new single “Yearbook Photo” and it’s got some serious Passion Pit vibes. The vocals even have the same Michael Angelakos’ pitch (and it kind of sends shivers down my spine). The electropop aspect of “Yearbook Photo” is different from Passion Pit mostly because there is a more synthesized sound but the general vibe is there. Really good stuff and I’m super stoked to hear what others songs they’ll be putting out.

I am not real...or at least not who you think I am, merely a figment of my own imagination. If you stumbled upon this blog...I can only wonder how.
