Austin, TX – Duncan Fellows released their new single “Coffins” back in January and the band is getting ready to share their debut album this summer. This quintet mixes indie rock with some southern rock, which gives them this earthy indie rock sound. I’d describe them as a hybrid of Hippo Campus and Kings of Leon: their music has the same timeless sound as KOL but also bring in a fresh element of modern indie rock that Hippo Campus also has. “Coffins” also has really great guitar strumming and southern-tinted crooning that gives the track a KOL appeal. Some of the soulful guitar picking near the 3:30 mark reminds me bit of TRUDY’s music. Check out the track for a little sneak peek at the upcoming album.

I am not real...or at least not who you think I am, merely a figment of my own imagination. If you stumbled upon this blog...I can only wonder how.
