Florist is one of my favorite new bands of 2015 and I’m super stoked that they’re following up their EP Holdly with their debut LP The Birds Outside Sang. The newest track to be released from the LP is “White Light Doorway”, a light lo-fi track that is perfect for those rainy days. Also, I love Florist because their lyrics have this odd, eccentric story to them. In “White Light Doorway”, vocalist Emily Sprague sings about getting her head stuck in a bannister. Think Girlpool mixed with The Moldy Peaches.

The Birds Outside Sang is out 1/29/16 via Double Double Whammy.

I am not real...or at least not who you think I am, merely a figment of my own imagination. If you stumbled upon this blog...I can only wonder how.
