New York band Yellerkin released their self-titled EP, which infuses indie folk elements with a little bit of electronic elements. Their debut single “Solar Laws” is very indie with hazy vocals, an indie folk-ish pop base, and intense violin sounds. “Leave Me Be” is more electronic based with a deep base-line and a slow rhythm. “Tomboy” is probably the epitome of an indie pop band making an electronic track and rather a little bit melancholy. I think “Vines” is my favourite track because it’s slowed down and the vocals are perfectly hazy. You can download each individual track on Soundcloud for free.

I am not real...or at least not who you think I am, merely a figment of my own imagination. If you stumbled upon this blog...I can only wonder how.
