‘Annabelle’s Stairwell’ is about a young girl, who was put into an insane asylum by her parents. The song follows her through her nocturnal life in the asylum and her discovery of a stairwell that leads to an abandoned floor in the building. All of her visions and some past memories come to life in the rooms of this floor and she completely loses herself within it. – Silas Fermoy on “Annabelle’s Stairwell”
Above is the music video to Silas Fermoy’s single “Annabella’s Stairwell” for their upcoming EP. Right off the bat, I knew I was going to like the song because the beginning guitar intro was simply fantastic, and the buildup of the drums is a buildup of how much you’re going to like the song. What’s really interesting is the whole story of the song. I hear songs about relationships, partying, and all these “teenager” things, and I think it’s awesome that a band can write a song about being in an insane asylum. And can I just say how gorgeous the girl is in this video? I don’t know about you but I’m stoked for Silas Fermoy to release their EP on February 11.
