Stream/Buy — Tideland: ‘Lull’

I haven’t heard garage rock in such a long time so Tideland was a wonderful surprise to find in my inbox this weekend! The band released their album Lull just a few weeks ago and it reminds me of the Smashing Pumpkins’ old stuff. The good stuff. My personal preference is more of the indie garage-ish rock rather than the punk garage stuff. I love the haziness of “Starblood” but the guitar riffs in “Carved in Mine” are utterly amazing. If you like them in studio, check them out live. They played “Desolate” for PWHP Radio back in 2012 but they sound just as great live. Super grunge mode!

I am not real...or at least not who you think I am, merely a figment of my own imagination. If you stumbled upon this blog...I can only wonder how.
